A pop-up of explanatory text can be attached to words or phrases in your story.
When readers view your story, the words you selected will be indicated with a subtle highlight and icon. When your readers mouse-over or tap on the highlighted words, the bubble containing explanatory text will appear like a tooltip:
To add the annotation, select the text you wish to attach it to and from the format bar that pops up, choose the ADD ANNOTATION icon.
A modal window will open into which you can type or paste the text you wish to attach to the highlighted area:
To edit or remove an annotation, highlight the text that already has an annotation applied. From the green menu, select the same icon that was used to add the annotation.
From the modal window that opens, you may choose to change the annotation text, or to REMOVE ANNOTATION entirely.
