Along with the visible text in your story, search engines access metadata that can help to better categorise and index your content, and you can add this data from within the story editor.

To easily change this metadata, click on the settings icon in the top-left of the story editor.

Along with metadata for title, description and author, you can add news keywords that may help improve SEO for your story where relevant words aren't included in the body copy itself, such as words describing the theme or category of story.

The title you add to the settings panel does not need to match the text title within your story. This enables you, for instance, to have a more descriptive title for Facebook, search engines and screenreaders and a shorter title within the story itself.
