Insert an image, MP4 video, YouTube video or SoundCloud clip into a text column or above background media.

Place your cursor on any block of text in the editor and you'll see a row of buttons appear before and after the paragraph that enables you to enter a number of objects at that point. The first button in the row is the "INSERT MEDIA" button, and it provides options for adding an image, video or audio clip.

Along with adding media between text paragraphs, it can be added between lines of text in Title and Text Over Media sections, too.

When you click Insert Media, you will be given the option to upload:

  • an image
    • upload a desktop and optional mobile version
    • add a caption
    • set alt text
    • attach a link (set to 'no follow' if desired and whether or not to open in new window)

  • a video
    • upload an MP4 and poster image
    • add a caption
    • set alt text
    • choose whether to show controls
    • attach a link (set to 'no follow' if desired and whether or not to open in new window)

  • YouTube
    • enter YouTube video URL (we'll do the rest)
    • add a caption

  • Soundcloud
    • enter Soundcloud URL (we'll do the rest)
    • add a caption

Along with media, you can also add buttons, spacers, and dividers between text paragraphs.
Users with access to developer tools can also embed HTML into text columns – more detail on which can be found here.
