The SHARE panel in the story editor provides multiple, convenient ways for you to directly share the URL of your story. You can share either the published URL for your final intended audience, or the preview URL for collaborators and reviewers of your story.
When you open the Share panel you will see various options for obtaining or sending the link, including sending via email, SMS, and scanning or taking a screenshot of a QR code.
There are separate tabs for the preview link and published link. If you have yet to publish the story, only the Preview tab will be shown. The Published tab will only show for stories published directly through Shorthand-connected hosting (e.g. Shorthand hosting, S3 connected hosting).
Note: Preview links are not the same as Published links. Preview links are intended for testing and gathering feedback from those involved in the creation and review of a story before publishing. Be sure not to share a preview link with your audience in place of the link to your finished published story.
Current limitations
The Share panel may not currently be available for stories grouped under Shorthand Projects
If you published to multiple destinations, only the most recent published URL will show in the Published link tab
