To ensure the security of your account and stories, Shorthand has some strict password requirements, including that all passwords must:
be at least 8 characters long,
not be a word in the dictionary (such as 'storyteller'),
not be repeated characters (such as '111111111'), and
not appear in a list of compromised passwords from known data breaches.
The list of compromised passwords we use is from https://haveibeenpwned.com/.
Please note: the compromised passwords are from various third-party services and not from Shorthand.
