To enable readers to jump to particular sections in your story, you can create a navigation menu.
To do this, you need to find the relevant section in the section list on the left side of the editor. Underneath the relevant section, check the box labelled ADD TO NAV. The thumbnail image for that section will then continue to display the label in navigation and the name of the section will be added to the navigation row at the top of the story.
Sections are automatically named with a number corresponding their position in the story. These names can be changed by typing directly into the field below each thumbnail.
Once at least one section is checked as added to navigation, the navigation menu is immediately created at the top of the story. Our default theme combines the navigation menu into the header which remains fixed to the top as the reader scrolls.
The navigation changes to the 'hamburger' three-line-style menu on mobile devices.
The colour of the navigation row is set by the story theme, and may be able to be changed by using the section options controls on the Story Header section.
