Shorthand’s image filter functionality enables you to apply preset filters or, create custom filters using an image or a colour so you can create a consistent and cohesive look across the images in your story. Once you’ve created a custom filter, they will be available for use throughout your story and can be applied to any image in your story.
Note: Image filters are not available for 3D images, video, or GIF.
Preset filters
To apply preset filters to your image, click the 'Filters' link above the image in the media panel.
You will then see a preview of your image, preset filters, and an area for custom filters.
Under Presets you can choose from a range of presets and also set the filter to none. When a preset filter is selected, you will see it applied to the image preview and a slider to control the strength of the filter. Drag the slider to the left to reduce the strength, or to the right to increase the strength. The filter strength is applied to this instance of the image only so it can be changed when you apply the same filter to other images.
Once you are happy with the filter and the strength, click 'Done' to apply the filter to your image.
Custom filters
There are two ways to create custom filters, either by selecting a colour or uploading an image. To create a custom filter, click the 'Filters' link above the image in the media panel.
