When you insert an image inline (i.e. within a text column) the Inline Media edit window includes a field underneath the image into which you can add a link.
For your readers, the link will work when they click the image.
Note: You must include the http:// or https:// at the start of the link for it to work.
A checkbox under the link field enables you to specify if the link will open in a new browser window. To have the link open in the same window as your story, leave the box un-checked.
Once you have inserted the link and saved changes, you can test the link by previewing your story.
If you need to change or remove the link attached to an image, click on its 'EDIT MEDIA' button to re-open the Inline Media edit window, from which you can then change or remove the link.
