Get tailored help with a co-creation session

A co-creation session is a practical working session based on your content, audience, and goals. A Shorthand expert prepares ideas or a mock-up, demonstrates how it was created, and discusses other approaches you could use.

Co-creation sessions can help you:

  • Plan the structure and visual rhythm of a new story

  • Turn draft copy and media into an effective Shorthand experience

  • Learn how specific sections and features could support your content

  • Improve your team's workflow and publishing confidence

  • Review an existing story and identify practical improvements

You can refer to the session recording and prepared mock-up afterwards while your team continues building the story.

Co-creation availability by plan

  • Business: Most Business subscriptions include two co-creation sessions per subscription year

  • Enterprise: Co-creation, training, and onboarding can be tailored to your organisation's requirements

  • Team: Co-creation is not included in the standard Team plan, but it may be available as an add-on

Important: Your subscription agreement is the source of truth for the number and type of sessions included with your plan. Legacy and negotiated subscriptions can have different entitlements.

Contact the Customer Success Team to check your remaining co-creation sessions or discuss the right type of session for your project. To add sessions or compare plans, contact our Sales Team.

Prepare for a co-creation session

Send your materials at least three days before the session so our team can prepare useful, relevant examples.

  1. Complete the co-creation booking form provided by your Customer Success Manager.

  2. Share your draft copy, media, storyboard, brand guidance, and publishing goal.

  3. Tell us which parts of the story or workflow you want to focus on.

  4. Join the session ready to discuss the prepared mock-up and ask questions.

  5. Use the mock-up and recording as references while you finish your story.

Tip: If you already have a developed story and mainly want improvement advice, ask whether a story review would be more suitable. A story review will usually use one of your co-creation session credits.
